Sanatorium
A fully qualified Registered General Nurse is based at our Sanatorium and is on call 24-hours a day. She looks after the general health and welfare of pupils. She also attends sports functions, prepares first aid bags for ‘away matches’ and makes arrangements with other healthcare facilities for the treatment of sick or injured children whether ‘at home’ or ‘away’.
A fully qualified doctor visits the Sanatorium once a week to check on any pupils with minor injuries or health problems and gives further medical assistance whenever needed.
In emergencies, pupils are attended to a t the local private hospital. Midlands Christian School has country-wide coverage with MARS in case of emergency. All staff have also received basic first aid training.
