MCS SENIOR BOYS/GIRLS HOCKEY TOURNAMENT: SATURDAY 15 JUNE 2019All players should be at school by 7:30am.Matches begin by 8:00am. Come and support our children and enjoy a morning out! We will be hosting Camelot, Centenary, Goldridge and SOS Schools. GRADE 3—7 CONSULTATION DAY: THURSDAY 20 JUNE 2019Information has already been sent out. Please make every effort to attend this very important event in the school calendar. Education is a joint process between the home and the school. Don’t miss out on this opportunity! AFTERNOON SCHEDULE / EXEAT: FRIDAY 21 JUNE 2018All activities will be as usual up to the end of Wednesday. Grade 3—7 children do not attend school on Thursday 20 June 2019. School is per normal for Grades 1 & 2 children on Thursday 20 June 2019, but without afternoon activities or supervision. Classes resume on Tuesday 25 June 2019, at the usual time. BUS SHUTTLEThe Bus Shuttle will be available in the morning for the Grade 1 and 2 pupils on Thursday 20 June 2019, from the usual pick-up point at the usual time. The afternoon bus will leave the school at 1:00pm. ALLIED ARTS SPEECH & DRAMA FESTIVALPlease note that this will take place from Wednesday 26 to Friday 28 June 2019. All children taking part will be required to wear their full winter uniform as follows:Boys: sky blue shirt, long grey trousers and blazer (no anoraks).Girls: sky blue shirt, royal blue trousers and blazer (no anoraks) with hair neatly done in accordance with normal school regulations. We will notify you of specific days and times for the class performances into next week. HEALTH OF PUPILSWe respectfully request that if your child is unwell, please keep him/her at home and get him/her to a doctor. It is unfair on your child, other children and the staff to send a sick child to school. REMINDER: BLAZERSIt is compulsory for all children, Grade 1 to 7, to wear a blazer to Assembly on a Tuesday and Friday. Grade 6 & 7 children are expected to wear a blazer to school every day. Please assist/remind your child of the requirements.Learning to dress smartly when required is part of being responsible and developing a positive self - image. Please ensure all blazer buttons are securely in place. NAMING OF CLOTHING It is compulsory for all children to have their clothing items labelled as set out in our specifications.
