Tuesday and Friday are our formal assembly days.Royal blue scarves and gloves may be worn with uniform, but not beanies. The royal blue hat is as much a part of uniform as in the summer terms and is required to be worn every day.PLEASE replace blazer buttons which fall off.Unrepaired uniforms look really untidy.Boys are to wear white socks for sport – not their grey school socks.PLEASE replace very worn articles of clothing; sports shirts sports shirts and shorts particularly come to mind. The “Thrift Shop” is operated on behalf of the school by Ms Michael, contact number 0773242699. Children may not wear other colours inside their uniform shirt.Bringing a small rug to cover their knees in class, or to use at break time is fine. However, your child should be told that they may not wrap it around themselves. This is a long but simple list! We will appreciate your support in maintaining our school standards.Thank you so much. CONSTRUCTION BEGINNING:ADDITIONAL ABLUTION BLOCKYou may have noticed a cordoned off section in the car park near the Grade 5R classroom. We are beginning the construction of an additional ablution block in order to improve our facilities.Kindly avoid “dropping off” children near this area, and rather drive further in before parking or dropping off.We apologise for any inconvenience. MERIT BADGESShould your child lose a Merit badge, please pay RTGS$12,50 to the Cashier for replacement. CHILD HEALTHPlease do not send your child to school if they are sick. Any vomiting and / or diarrhoea, bad flu and throat infections should be taken to the doctor. If your child is struggling with illness they do not cope well at school and can also pass on the ‘bug’ to others. The Bible declares that God is faithful.“Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.” (Hebrews 10:23) The reality is that times are tough! Jesus tells us that in the world we will have tribulation, but to be of good cheer, for He has overcome the world. (John 16:31) May we each know His presence with us in a new and fresh way. It is Jesus who makes the difference!
